ABSTRACT

The educational software called Educational Hypercontext for Learning was designed for the topic "Testing and verification of the electrical protection in biomed equipment" in the subject Electrical Safety. To this end, empirical methods such as observation and in depth interviews, and theoretical methods as analysis/synthesis; induction/deduction and historical/logical were all used. The theoretical-practical activity of the subject mainly supported on the use of videos and the contents was deeply addressed with 10 interactive exercises and 7 practical simulations. The Educational Hypercontext for Learning contributes to improving the teaching-learning process of this subject and may be used in direct teaching as a kind of reference material and in paying attention to the individual differences of the students. It may also give answer to the priorities set by the National Project for the production of educational software in the field of health sciences, known as Galenomedia.
