ABSTRACT

Truncus arteriosus is a cyanotic congenital heart disease, can be associated with rare defects that become more complex and higher risk of mortality. We report two cases of truncus arteriosus associated with rare defects diagnosed in the hospital. The echocardiographic study was the method of diagnosis, however, due to suspicion of other associated vascular defects was necessary the angiotomography which defined the suspected vascular malformation. We believe that in the heart of this group of complex cases are needed to complement with angiotomography for diagnosis.
