ABSTRACT
lntroduction. Mushroom poison ing, mainly dueto the Aman ita genus, is an freq uent ly cause of liver fai lure in Chiapas. Material and methods. We report three cases of mushroom poison ing, which presented a different cl inical course, the characteristic initial symptoms of vomit ing, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. We have medical treatment lntensive Terapy. Two cases presented renal and hepatic fa ilure. However. Conclusions. The liver failure, have high morbidity and mortality, it constitutes a medical emergency.
