ABSTRACT

The objective of this article is to analyze the atypical clinical presentation of a causing myoma of big elements of obstruction urinary for compression of the urethra. This complication is reported strange in the world literature, there are not publications in this respect in our country. The case of a 37 year-old feminine patient is described who enter for acute retention of urine as main symptom and abdominal pain in hypogastrium, tried initially with probe Foley. The diagnosis was carried out with clinic, ultrasonography, excretory urography and tomography. The final treatment was surgical with total improvement of the symptoms.
