ABSTRACT

Photodermatoses, a group of disorders of diverse etiology, are a frequent cause of dermatologic consult. Cutaneous reactions induced by a combination of an exogenously acquired agent and light energy can be divided into two broad categories: photoallergy and phototoxicity. We present a review of this types of reactions.
