ABSTRACT

Focal liver lesions in children from zero to three years old, include neoplasms, metastatic lesions, inflammatory masses and cysts (congenital or acquired) primary neoplasms, both benign and malignant represent 1 to 2% of all pediatric tumors. Hepatoblastoma is the most common malignant liver tumor in infants, with a peak incidence in the first two years of life. There are non-invasive imaging studies that make us suspect the prenatal diagnosis of this condition including conventional ultrasound is grayscale and color Doppler ultrasound. The aim of this paper is to present a medical population reporting a case presented in the radiology unit and image and review of the literature of prenatal diagnosis of hepatoblastoma.
