ABSTRACT

Pregnancy is a stage in a woman´s life which faces dramatic changes in the different areas of development, specially the first one. This is commonly seen through clinical optics, especially obstetrically, that leads to oversee the psychological aspect of pregnancy. Being pregnancy an event which directly involves the pregnant woman, her partner and their family, is quite important to know and understand how their psyche responds to the gestational dynamics, which will alter not only vividly but physically the newborn´s arrival. Anxieties, fantasies, manias and regressions are commonly within the family. Should these were overseen; grave consequences in non determined periods are to be expected.
