ABSTRACT

A descriptive study on the formation of values was conducted , with the participation of students of Health and Technology at the University Venue in Arroyo Naranjo municipality during this school year. The sample consisted of 40 students (20 per race). Our objective was to demonstrate the knowledge these students have of about values and the importance of developing them in daily practice. A survey was conducted. Our results showed 100% of these students stated that there is a current loss of values (a crisis), and the main causes are: first (75%) no family proper guidance, secondly (55 %), no school proper education. Out of the students surveyed, 65 % answered that the values are transmitted, formed and developed, since they constitute criteria or judgments present in society and guiding norms, attitudes, opinions, and behaviors in people.
