ABSTRACT

We present three cases of conjoined twins (Siamese) who were treated at the Hospital Civil de Guadalajara Dr. Juan I. Menchaca, detected at 29, 19 and 26 weeks gestation, ending the pregnancy at 30, 24 and 34 weeks, birth resolved by cesarean, vaginally and cesarean respectively; infants died on the 3rd day of life, transparto and 8 days after delivery. We conclude that given the difficulty of providing a successful surgical separation in our country, early diagnosis is important in order to protect future fertility of the mother.
