ABSTRACT

The case report of a 10 year-old boy is described, assisted in the comprehensive care department of the Teaching Provincial Estomatological Clinic from Santiago de Cuba who presented 2 supernumerary teeth in the maxilla, detected by means of the panoramic x-ray before beginning the orthodontic treatment. The surgical extraction was indicated and the conoid aspect that commonly present these teeth was observed. The subsequent clinical follow-up revealed the absence of changes in the anatomical structures and a correct scaring of the soft tissues.
