ABSTRACT

Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common benign neoplasm of the salivary glands; it is considered that occurs most frequently on major salivary glands, principally on parotid and less common on minor salivary glands. In these, the most of the neoplasm are malignant and only around 18% are benign; the upper lip is the second most frequent site of pleomorphic adenoma on salivary glands. We present a case of pleomorphic adenoma on upper lip, on a male patient of 38 years old, in which is performed a surgical conservative excision without recurrence after two years of follow up.
