Abdominal pain, Colonic interposition.

ABSTRACT

The sign of Chilaiditi is described as a hepatodiaphragmatic colonic interposition, its diagnosis is clinical and is confirmed by imaging studies. We describe the case of a patient who presented signs associated with abdominal or retrosternal pain, cramping, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, flatulence and intestinal obstruction, which are syndrome Chilaiditi features. The patient’s treatment depends on the cause that conditions it, and it should be ruled out other diagnosis that required surgery treatment.
