ABSTRACT

The main objective of the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) is to design an individualized plan of preventive action, therapeutic or rehabilitation, in order to achieve the highest level of independence and quality of life for the elderly. It is said that both in the hospital setting as well as Primary Care the CGA is the best instrument, which can facilitate a family medical practice with a holistic vision that ensures a proper, and effective medical care and quality.
