ABSTRACT

Changes in the epidemiological profile of deaths of children ‹15 years of age have shown that the relevance of common infectious diseases has taken a “back seat” but has not disappeared. At present, it is necessary to focus our attention on noncommunicable diseases as well as on external causes.
