Lifestyle and self-perception on mental health in the elderly

ABSTRACT

A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out in 15 older adults belonging to the doctor's office no 23 of "30 de Noviembre" University Polyclinic, in order to identify their lifestyle and self-perception on mental health. It was found that the elderly had limited knowledge of the activities they could do in terms of sexuality and lifestyles. Likewise, psychopathological manifestations that may appear in this stage of life were evidenced.
