Medical ethics in the use of the diagnostic procedures in the specialty of neurology

ABSTRACT

The prodigious development of medical science and technology has a negative side that is expressed in the doctor-patient relationship and health care crisis. Changes in that relationship, the greater specialization and new possibilities for medical technologies lead to reflect on the consequences and effects in a long term from the ethical point of view. A bibliographic review was made using the EBSCO database to determine how it impacts the technological process in the decline of the doctorpatient relationship in the specialty of Neurology. Ethics and bioethics journals were also reviewed in their printed formats of the last 10 years.
