ABSTRACT

Clinical experience: Relates the clinical practice in the diagnosis and management of four adolescents with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), associated with autoimmune thyroiditis: those who were admitted to hospital for their care in the area of Internal Medicine and whose diagnosis was confirmed by antinuclear antibodies, evidence of indirect immunofluorescence with HEp-2 cells and a human epithelial cell line The anti-DNA antibodies tests were measured with ELISA tests, radioimmunoassay of Farr, the immunofluorescence with Crithidia test and CH50.
