ABSTRACT
A study of series case from 8 patients with malignant and benign intracranial tumors, in which the
resection was guided by endoscopy. The presence of parenchymal tumors with supra and
infratentorial cystic component was observed most frequently. The other tumors were two
hypophyseal macroadenomas, one type B and another type C of Hardy classification. Inherent
complications to the endoscopic procedure did not appear. Half of patients presented excellent
results, three of them were good and only one patient showed a regular result. It considered that
the resection of brain gliomas guided by endoscopy can be a surgical option in these patients.
