ABSTRACT

We present the case of a 26-year-old woman with a 34-week pregnancy in whom cesarean is projected, the newborn diagnosis was gastroschisis. Reduction of the abdominal defect was made in the operating room by Simil-Exit technique; maternal anesthetic management was performed under epidural blockade and intravenous opioids. We analyze the surgical technique and the existing management proposals.
