ABSTRACT

As part of the modernization of health public systems in Mexico and with the aim of improving the quality of services affiliated ISSSTE population, the program was created to ensure the timeliness of care, which would improve waiting times optimize resources and provide care in surgery, specialty consultation, laboratory and rehabilitation therapies. The program detected with specific problems, a one-stop surgery and consultation agenda was created, staggering consultation and contract staff was established to reduce the backlog in the cases noted, to name a few behaviors. The program in its 8 phases grant has allowed 43,349 surgeries, 206.155 consultations, 186.923 desk studies and 306.061 rehabilitation therapies, a total of 742, 488 attentions. This program has successfully met the goals, meeting the standards and guidelines set by the institute.
