ABSTRACT

Introduction: the subject of human values in Cuban current situation, hasn't lost its importance coming from the Marti's quote that "The evidence of every civilization is in human species, that's where it comes from" We consider that there's a damage of some of these values in general society, particularly in health professionals,what needs all the social implicated agents' action.
Objective: to identify the influence of communication into the family in values' formation from students of Stomatology career.
Material and Methods: it used methods to bibliographic and practice line of argument of subject, such as analysis and synthesis, structural systemic conception, documentary analysis and questionnaire. It carried out an opinion poll in students of the second year of Stomatology career, through the application of a pool, about values and communication into the family, which allowed us to have an initial background.
Results: difficulties in the relations of inter-family communication became evident, little knowledge of what it is a value and weaknesses as to values, in the sampled students.
Conclusion: the communication into the family from students influenced in values´ state of them. These limitations from family about of values' formation must be confronted by our University.
