ABSTRACT

The aim of this speech is to offer to the academic and scientific community the advances and the impact of the Family Medicine in Granma during the year 2011. The authors carried out a deep and conscious checking of the different processes like: the functioning of the necessary medical offices, doctor’s consulting time and their community visits, house admission of patients as the main task of the Primary Health Care scenarios, as well as the restoration and functioning of the specialty provincial group, the formation of human resources in the territory, the situation of the accounting process of the delegates to their voters as a point to evaluate the satisfaction of the population in regards to the services that are offered in this care level, the economical impact from the point of departure of the changes in our health sphere as well as the fulfillment of the international commitment.
