ABSTRACT

In this article we recognize the contribution and the role the Teaching Territorial Hospital Mario Muñoz Monroy played and plays nowadays, honoring the development of the medicine history in Cuba and in the municipality of Colon, taking into consideration transcendental moments of the institution in the medical services, and also the performance of the health professionals working in this hospital.
