ABSTRACT

Enophtalmos resulting from spontaneous collapse of the maxillary antrum was described by Soparkar, who termed it silent sinus syndrome, in which generally the patient notes a change in facial appearance, often being a droping of the upper lid or sinking down the eye, often without visual changes.
