Prosthetic rehabilitation about implants and its interrelation with Orthodontics

ABSTRACT

The adequate implantological treatment planning constitutes one of the main guarrantees to succeed. One of the main problems at the moment of performing the rehabilitation is the non-apperance of an adequate interocclusal space. There are several variables to try to solve this situation, one of the most suitable is offered by the orthodontic treatment. It was presented a rehabilitation case through implants with interocclusal space recovered thanks to the orthodontic treatment. It was used a technique of rectal arch in order to reach the desire movements. The proposal was to flatten the Spee curve and for that purpose there were used super elastic preformed archs obtaining the dentary movement within a period of 6 months. Finally it was obtained the space for the prosthetic restoration, making a fix porcelain bridge. Through this case we decided to show a rehabilitation technique through dentary implants and its impact was waranteed thanks to the adequate orthodontic treatment.
