ABSTRACT

In abdominal vascular disease, visceral aneurysms are not very frequent. It is of importance to know them and have them present for the possibility of rupture and presence of massive hemorrhage, putting at risk the lives of patients. The case of a boy of 12 years of age with ruptured aneurysm of splenic arteryarises. Review literature in order to communicate diagnostic alternatives to provide timely treatment.
