Pulmonary tuberculosis during pregnancy: management of the newborn. Report in regard to a case

ABSTRACT

In this case report of a newborn with congenital tuberculosis, the diagnosis of this disease was done during pregnancy, it was confirmed by bacteriology and by X ray. The woman was treatment with rifampicin and etambutol. The neonate was born at the 36 week of gestation with 1630 g of body weight and received isoniazid as a profilactic treatment. Is now in close observation.
