Renal teratoma in an infant with an abdominal mass

ABSTRACT

Objective. To study the frequency of histopathologic diagnosis malignant neoplasia done by and excisional ganglionar biopsy. The case of an infant of 4 months age with an abdominal mass is reported. The tomographic study reported a retroperitoneal tumor of left kidney, heterogeneous and amorphous calcifications. The tumor was extirpated and the histopathological report was: cystic mature intrarenal teratoma.
