ABSTRACT

This is a review about the current knowledge of the dysplasic development of the hip in children. Emphasis is done in to use of the terms of “Dysplasia of the hip” instead “Congenital hip luxation” and give information in regard to an historical background, the risk factors in this disease, clinical features, studies of radioimage and treatment of these children.
