ABSTRACT

Diego Meneses Almeida is an outstanding figure in the history of Cuban maxillofacial surgery. The life and work of the recently deceased beloved professor, prestigious surgeon and born teacher has inspired the research and brief outline herein presented. Under the precept that teaching is an exercise of immortality, his example as a devoted teacher will forever guide the new generations of professionals along the passionate paths of surgery.
