ABSTRACT

Currently, drugs such as alcohol and tobacco constitute a serious health problem, because besides causing psychological dysfunctions, they are related to organic lesions which, in many cases, become irreversible. A brief communication was carried out to show the main congenital malformations, among them cleft lip and palate, caused by the use of these drugs during pregnancy.
