ABSTRACT

Nowdays, liposuction is the most practiced aesthetic surgical procedure. Dermatologist are one of several physicians who perform it. Liposuction accomplished by means of local anesthesia (tumescent technique), has demonstrated an extremely high security profile. We present this study in which the authors perform liposuction with local anesthesia in twenty eight patients in fewer areas than the ones originally requested by them. Most patients were satisfied with the results. The authors discuss waht they think is important to conduct minimal liposuction and at the same time keep satisfied patients.
