ABSTRACT

Dehydration is the excessive loss of water and minerals from the human body, and can result from being in a situation of extreme heat (especially if there is enough moisture), intense exercise, lack of fluid intake or a combination of these factors. By relating the importance of adequate hydration in working with Venezuelan laws that protect workers on health and safety, occupational health is promoted, with the consequent implementation of training programs. They are related to adequate hydration workers, conducting environmental ergonomic study, in order to prevent disease and improve job performance .The aim of this paper was to analyze the legal aspects, which protect workers in prevention, health and safety, in this case, adequate hydration in the workday. The scope was aimed at workers who worked in Venezuela. The most significant results were geared towards increasing awareness about prevention, conditions and working environment, which is achieved detect inherent dangers associated with lack of hydration on workers, and work activities that often are thrive in harsh and extreme environmental conditions.
