ABSTRACT

Infectious mononucleosis is a disease that attacks mainly adult patients, is rarely found in the pediatric population as in the case we report. From the immunological point of view the infectious mononucleosis is mediated by cellular immunity. The allergic rhinitis involves immunological mechanisms corresponding to the type I hypersensitivity Gell and Coombs classification. Our patient had both conditions and we interesting to evaluate whether immunological evolution variant. Data found no changes in the response to both pathologies.
