ABSTRACT

Introducción: Facebook managed to become a popular icon at the time that the society adopted it as the primary method of personal relationships and globalize what was previously limited by region or languages. Objective: This study aims to characterize this Social Network globally and identify the opportunities and risks of their use, to share institutional information and defend the achievements of the Revolution. Methods: A bibliographic and document review is done, and logical analysis and synthesis of the historical behavior of RS in the Internet, specifically on Facebook. Results: We conclude that it is essential to fill these spaces institutionally or personally in order to fight and undressing frequent misrepresentations about the Revolution that are dispersed around the world and to spread the truth of the National Health System.
