ABSTRACT

The electronic media has entered fully into the life of our children and adolescents, causing a culture clash between parents and children, making it difficult to address this issue. It is required knowledge of the advances in technology and its impact behavior in the pediatric population. In this paper we provide guidance to pediatricians and health professionals about risks of media in the age at which children are in training and are vulnerable, requiring parental monitoring and of health professionals. Finally we expressed some proposals for parents, pediatricians and all involved in the media and their relationship with the children.
