ABSTRACT

The lung Toxoplasmosis associated to an ipsilateral adenic syndrome with adenopathies bigger than 8 cm of diameter in an immunocompetent patient is uncommon in the daily medical practice. Generally, the adenopathies found in the patients affected by toxoplasmosis rarely exceed the 5 cm of diameters, and their location is usually bilateral, also when there is a visceral (pulmonary) commitment, the symptoms used to be florid; in this article it is presented a case of a 48 yearold patient with lung Toxoplasmosis who was admitted in the CMDI Simón Bolivar and was treated with azithromycin during 6 weeks, having a satisfactory evolution.
