A case of porphyria cutanea tarda of multifactorial etiology

ABSTRACT

Case report a 49 year-old man with congenital solitary kidney and extensive pathological background, who developed a skin condition characterized by multiple vesicles, ulcerations and linear scars in exposed areas.
Biopsy and increased urinary levels of porphyrins confirmed the diagnosis of porphyria cutanea tarda of multifactorial origin.
