ABSTRACT

A rare condition equally affecting any gender and age group, pseudoporphyria is characterized by painful blistering of sunexposed areas, with clinical/histological findings suggestive of porphyria cutanea tarda, but without its biochemical changes.
This article describes a patient with typical lesions and adequate therapeutic response, and reviews existing literature.
