ABSTRACT

Introduction. The evidence of experimental neovascularization in the limb of the rats can be shown by angiography; however thought density angiographic evaluation is more accurate using an injection system which provides us red resin permanent anatomical model.
Material and methods. Using 20 Wistar rats simulate the model of chronic limb ischemia, assessing neovascularization in 3, 6 and 12 months with intraarterial epoxy resin. Evaluation. Pictures are taken and a comparative analysis between the right limb (experimental) and left limb (control) blocks; using the ImageJ program that processes images in three dimensions.
