ABSTRACT
Introduction: The sexuality is a dimension of the personality; in this sense it is necessary to reiterate that both men and women are sexed beings, what means that they constantly express their sexuality through their generic condition.Objective: to determine the behavior of the different causes that influence in the sexual disorders of the couples that come to the counseling service.
Method: it was performed an intervention study in the sexual counseling service for couples, in the guidance family house, belonging to Bayamo municipality in Granma province. It was made a wide national and international bibliographic review of the subject; for the analysis and interpretation of the results it was used the descriptive statistics (absolute frequency and relative frequency), as well as the chi-square test. The data were represented in tables of double entrance, for the processing it was applied the professional statistical program SPSS 12.0.
Results: The main sexual problems in the teenagers was related with immaturity; in men the main cause of consultation was related with the precocious ejaculation and the erectile disorders, in women the main problems were the anorgasmy and the disorders by hypo active sex; regarding the dysfunctions that were related with the erectile disorders, only the (26, 4%) of the couples agreed that the sexual problem was of both men and women.
Conclusions: The degree of satisfaction of the customers concerning the service loaned was described as well.
