ABSTRACT

The present“in vivo” study was carried out in enamel of permanent teeth in resident’s children of Nezahualcóyotl city. The objective was to assess the capacity of three fluor agents to enhance resistance was used to acid attack in enamel. The biopsy technique of De la Cruz y cols (1992). The agents assessed were fluoride, 1.23% phospate acidulated gel (APF), 2% sodium fluoride aq. (NaF) and 5% fluoride varnish (BF) which was made in Facultad de Estudios Superiores Zaragoza. Before to application APF showed depth in biopsy average (PB) of 2.695 µ further one week, the average was 1.0492 µ. The Depth Biopsy in NaF was 2.3478 µ; the further results showed a value of 1.5835 µ. Latter, the group of BF had first PB of 2.0492 µ and 1.2793 µ in the experiment finished.
