ABSTRACT

Dental anomalies are departures from normality in the formation of teeth, which can occur by local conditions or be a manifestation of systemic disorders. They occur as a result of alterations affecting the normal process of odontogenesis. Depending on the stage in which they occur, primary, permanent teeth or both can be compromised. The purpose of this report is to present the case of a pediatric patient who attended the Centro de Especialidades Odontológicas IMIEM; he had dental anomalies of number and form. A brief review of the literature and the diagnostic methods are described, as well as the steps of the patient’s oral rehabilitation.
