Hybrid cyst, eruptive vellus hair cyst, steatocystoma.

ABSTRACT

Hybrid cyst is a rare cystic lesion that includes more than two components of the pilosebaceous units. Eruptive vellus hair cyst (EVHC) and steatocystoma (S) have a resemblance in clinical features, but have distinctive histologic features. We present a patient who had a hybrid cyst with infrequent topography. We think that EVHC and S are a part of the same spectrum of the disease process.
