ABSTRACT

A14 year old teenager was attended urgently due to a symptomatic and flourishing papulopustular facial affection corresponding to acute demodicidosis with no other previous conditions that could have predisposed this event, except recent symptomathology suggesting a hematological disease, for which lab exams were indicated. The hematological affection was confirmed to be acute lymphoblastic leukemia type L3. The skin exams corroborated the presence of DEMODEX. The infestation as the myeloproliferative neoplasia was submitted to remission and with the maintenance therapy has not presented any relapses.
