ABSTRACT

Cellulitis is a pathological condition of the cutaneous and subcutaneous tissues of the skin. Different degrees of cellulitis are present in postpuberal women0 (85 to 97%). It is more frequent in Caucasians than in Asiatic skin type. In the last decade, advances in laser and light technologies have evolved to the instauration of minimal invasive treatments for an increasing variety of therapies that eliminate aesthetic abnormalities. Electro Optical Synergy (ELOS) is a system of radiofrequency plus light. ELOS Technology combines in perfect synergy with the vacuum-therapy two power sources: radiofrequency and infrared light. It is a deep non-invasive treatment, acting simultaneously in reduction and reaffirmation.
