Eisenmenger's syndrome. A case presentation

ABSTRACT

Eisenmenger's syndrome represents the most advanced stage of pulmonary arterial hypertension associated with congenital cardiopathies with initial shunt from left to right. It is described the case of a patient with antecedents of atrial septal defect and pulmonary hypertension that was admitted to at the hospital due to dyspnea at rest, coughing access and hemoptysis to whom is diagnosed with Eisenmenger's syndrome, being imperative treatment with diuretics and inhibitors of phosphodiesterase V type sildenafil obtaining clinical improvement in the monitoring.
