ABSTRACT

Fixed drug erythema is a special form of toxicodermia, characterized by the appearance of skin lesions and/or mucous membranes involvement, which always appears in the same area, following the oral readministration of a drug. If it is presented with multiple lesions, the disorder is known as widespread fixed drug eruption. In this report, we describe a patient with generalized fixed drug eruption related to sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim intake.
