ABSTRACT

The integral study of surgical patients follows a systematic process which can be applied universally in any surgical intervention. In this process we emphasize a good doctor-patient relationship, so that thru clear medical history and physical examination we can obtain an exact diagnosis. Once a surgical intervention has been decided, the preoperatory is of vital importance in order to have a better knowledge of possible risk factors, so that we can ensure a successful surgical act.
