ABSTRACT

The noxious effect of tobacco on the health is well-known, but when a surgery is to be performed in a patient who is a heavy smoker, frequently it’s easy forget tobacco’s influence upon the wound healing. The following article provides a brief review of tobacco’s negative effect on wound healing.
